Game Fishing Supplies are pleased to announce that they have scooped a major regional award

At the Northumberland Business Awards Dinner on 19th Novermber 2009, Game Fishing Supplies were announced the winners of the 'Keeping It Local' award.  This award was in recognition of the contribution they have made to the local economy by employing local staff, using local suppliers whenever possible and becoming actively involved in the local community.

Managing Director of Game Fishing Supplies, Ian Woods, said "I am absolutley gobsmacked at winning this award.  This award isn't for us, it is for everyone who has supported us - my clients, my employees and my suppliers.  Thank you very much to everyone"

The award was presented by Northumberland Gazette editor, Paul Larkin, who said "Keeping It Local was a campaign launched last year to address the credit crunch, and we are trying to get local people to take pride in their local community.  This award is for companies that have made a real commitment to their local communities"
